Pressured by Immediacy

We had the chance to sponsor and attend our local UX Burlington conference. While we attend the national X4 conference each year, it’s great to also attend our local event that explores how User Experience is transforming and the immediacy users are now subject to. From Amazon to social media and virtual assistants like Alexa, immediacy is changing UX in many ways.

There was no shortage of conversation, and we were thrilled to bring this value back to our agency and our clients. Meena Kothandaraman nailed it with her presentation on The Value of Structure and Transparency.

“In a world where everything needed to be done yesterday, approaches to getting answers to people’s questions are also pressured by immediacy.”

It is crucial to take the time to reflect, and truly understand all aspects of the question, to get a smart, relevant answer. We live this at Hagan. When our clients have a question, whether it is a new product Market Research question, or at tactical e-commerce mid-Campaign question, we take the time needed to clarify the issue, gather the data, analyze, and deliver the applicable answer.

The conference also made it clear that motion is king when it comes to content. In the age of immediacy, it’s important as ever to implement smart and intuitive experiences through motion. The creative use of movement and animation is not just getting a users attention, but to enhance their overall experience. At Hagan, we enable our clients to have the freedom to experiment with visual motion throughout their content while staying true to their brand.

2019 celebrated the fifth year of the event and we continue to be supportive of this great community to build exceptional digital user experiences to our clients. Until next year, see you in 2020.
